Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Disposable.Check. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Last updated: June 13, 2026
1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms are a binding agreement between you (and the organization you represent) and [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] (“we”, “us”), the operator of Disposable.Check at [your-domain.com] (the “Service”). If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Definitions
- Service — the Disposable.Check website, dashboard, and disposable-email detection API.
- Account — the account you create to access the Service, including any team you belong to.
- API Key — the bearer token issued to your team to authenticate API requests.
- Credits — the metered units consumed by API and bulk-check usage.
3. Accounts & eligibility
You must provide accurate information and confirm your email address to use the Service. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and API Keys and for all activity under your Account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use, and revoke any compromised API Key from your dashboard. You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract.
4. License to use the Service
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use the Service for your internal business purposes. We retain all rights not expressly granted.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service to violate any law or infringe anyone's rights;
- circumvent, disable, or interfere with rate limits, credit metering, security, or other features of the Service;
- share, resell, or sublicense API Keys or access except as expressly permitted;
- attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or build a competing dataset from the Service;
- submit data you are not authorized to process, or use the Service to harass, profile, or harm individuals; or
- transmit malware or otherwise disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
We may suspend or terminate access that we reasonably believe violates these Terms or threatens the Service or other users.
6. Plans, credits & free tier
New accounts receive a one-time allotment of free credits so you can evaluate the Service without a payment card. Paid plans provide a monthly allotment of credits. Credits reset to your plan's amount at the start of each billing cycle and do not roll over. When your balance is exhausted, API requests return an “insufficient credits” error until your balance is replenished or your cycle renews.
7. Billing
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment processor. You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees. Cancellations, renewals, and refunds are governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. Fees are exclusive of taxes, which you are responsible for where applicable.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, detection models, domain lists, and branding, is owned by us and our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. You retain ownership of the data you submit; you grant us a limited license to process it solely to provide and improve the Service.
9. Privacy & data
Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service you consent to that processing. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to submit any third-party data (such as your end users' email addresses).
10. Detection accuracy & availability
Disposable-email detection is probabilistic. We work hard to be accurate, but we do not guarantee that every verdict is correct, that any particular accuracy rate will be met, or that the Service will catch every disposable address. You are responsible for how you act on verdicts. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free operation, and we may modify, suspend, or discontinue features.
11. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
12. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, OR DATA. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your data, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
14. Termination
You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time (see the Cancellation & Refund Policy). We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if required to protect the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (such as ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING LAW — e.g. the State of Minnesota, USA], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of [COURTS / VENUE — e.g. the state and federal courts located in Hennepin County, Minnesota] for any dispute that is not subject to arbitration or small-claims resolution.
